hi all,
was wondering what you guys think about editing posts after they are up?
I do a fair bit of editing and prof. writing for work, so I thought maybe I'm a stickler? I would feel shady about going back over the same post to make substantive changes a bunch of times well after it's up and people have read it.
We've all caught a typo and fixed it real quick, but when I can reload a page a few hours after its posted and watch it changing in not only tone, but also content, I form an opinion of the poster as intellectually dishonest. It feels like they're trying to get away with something.
I searched the tags, but didn't really find a consensus. Am I being too judgy?
