Hi everyone!
Before I invest any money I am doing my homework! I am thinking of starting a bio cube. (29g) Or maybe just turn a regular tank into a reef. Appx (20 to 30Gal)..Not sure which way to go yet..
I had many freshwater tanks over the years. I was actually thinking of starting it up again when I came upon the world of nano reefs! I am totally infatuated with the thought of starting one up.
The thought of salt water fish scared me but I have read that once you know what to do its not hard. Hoping that's true!!:)
I thought with a nano reef (20 to 30 gal or less) I can have the color and beauty with a couple of fish at some point when I have proper water levels.
I have been reading and trying to learn as much as I can but one thing I can't seem t find a direct answer to is what happens if I am lucky enough to have a successful growing tank and I out grow my 29g?
I know that is wishful thinking but if it all works I want to keep it within the same tank...
How do you (trim down) so to speak! Or what happens if it gets to big? I don't necessarily want to start a 2nd tank.. Is there a way to safely remove some coral or something to reduce or maintain the size?
I apologies now if that sounds stupid or doesn't make any scenes but I would appreciate some incite as this is my only concern at this point since I can learn the rest! I am thinking of tank shopping this week..
Thanks for reading and I appreciate any advice.
