Does anybody else deal with sand like debris coming out of their rock work while running a bare bottom tank? I removed the sand bottom about a year ago now and thought it was just remaining sand coming out of the rock work. But the amount of sand that accumulates between water changes doesn't appear to be decreasing.
So I'm thinking it's the live rock itself that is disintegrating and not remaining sand purging from the live rock. My pH is pretty stable at about 8.1. Does this happen to all bare bottom tanks? Everybody's pics I see doesn't have the debris on the bottom like mine does.....
