New 36 Gallon Saltwater Reef Tank

Hey Everyone,

Looking for some advice on next steps with my future Reef Tank.

My tank is the Fluval M90 Kit with the built in Sump behind the display tank. The entire system is 36 gallons. The sump being 9 of those gallons i believe. I have the Skimmer in the first of the 4 sump chambers where the water from the display flows into the sump. 2nd chamber is empty at the moment. 3rd chamber houses the Heater. 4th chamber houses the return pump. I've got 2 Hydor Circulation pumps in the display on each side of the tank. 40 lbs of CaribSea Arag-Alive Sand (LIVE). 40 lbs of CaribSea Base rock (NOT LIVE).

The tank has been sitting for 5 weeks with all Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate levels remaining at 0. Salinity, water temp, ph, etc. have all been consistent as well.

I believe the tank has not started a "cycle" yet as i have checked the parameters every other day with no changes seen. The light has been kept off aside from the last week i turned it on during the day just to see what kind of impact it would have on this process. I also do the regular RO/DI water top offs daily.

Where do I go from here? Keep waiting? Add a Green Chromis or Tank Raised Clown? Ghost feed? Seed the tank with Bacteria in a bottle?

Open to all opinions.
