Majanos and Muriatic Acid

I'm wanting to try to control, if not eliminate, the majano outbreak in my tank.

I have read that muriatic acid mixed with some sort of powder can do a great job.

I just don't know what powder to use to make to mix the muriatic acid with to make a paste so it could go through a syringe and stick to the majanos to kill them.
