Gonipora Gone Wild

Hi,

I am going to move to a 20 gal from a 10 gal and have a question about my Gonipora. It has gone crazy with growth and is now partially covering some zoas as well as spanning two large live rocks.

When it comes time to move can I just cut it where I need to to expose the zoas and to free the rocks it is connected between?
