I'm new to keeping saltwater fish and I want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly. Two weeks ago I put a yellow eyed kole tang in quarantine and I'm getting different information about how long to keep him there.
My LFS said that two week is enough, I've also been told four and eight weeks. So far in the two week he's been in quarantine, I haven't seen any signs of disease.
What amount of time is appropriate to quarantine before I can safely put him in my tank?
