Adding cured live rock to established tank

So I’m gonna purchase a couple pounds of “cured” live rock from a local reefer for my 14 gallon bio cube and was gonna stick it in the filtration for some beneficial bacteria, so I was wondering if the rock is cured already from the other mans sump, could I add it directly to my tank without starting a new cycle if I transport it with water in a bucket?
