Hello Guys and Gals! I officially joined in the fun of owning a Large system. I was lucky enough to come across an amazing deal from a fellow reefer who has wished to leave the reef side and maintain his Predator tank.
It is a 180Gal (Manufacturer unknown). Has two overflows and is drilled at the bottom of the tank. I just purchased it over the weekend and only had one day so far on the project. I will be building a new stand for it next weekend if weather permits.
But I figured everyone here might enjoy the project along with me.
Stay Tuned!
Day 1:
Cleaning tank out as good as I can with tap water/scrub brush. Then wiping it down with 50/50 water/vinegar. More cleaning will come through the week after work. Then moved onto to painting the back of the glass a Matte Black color. I used Krylon Fusion (forgot the color name).
