Hey guys,
Tomorrow I'm heading to my local fish store for a sale and plan on picking up a kole tang, or a tomini tang, I'll be looking for the smallest one the have. So I have a few questions.
I Have a 10 gal fish tank with heater and lid, I placed a jumbo sponge filter in my sump to soak. Tomorrow I'm planning on taking 10 gallons of water from my 90 gal established fish tank and put it into my QT. Is it ok to start a QT with established water and a good sponge the day your getting a fish? How much do I need to clean my QT? Also should I put rocks with algae on it or take algae from my tank for the tang in QT>?< Or just feed nori, I want him to do his cleaning job and don't want him to like nori to much. (:D) Should I feed him everyday in QT?
Also do I need to fresh water bath this sucker? :flamethrower: And if so before or after QT (I"d assume it's already stressed when you buy it, so why Dip before QT?) And lastly do I need to Acclimate to QT, how long?:read:
