Frequency of adding livestock

Feels like im going back to the basics but yesterday we (me & my dad) added the first pieces of coral to the new tank, standard 6ft. There is about 65-70kgs of live rock which is approx. 143-154 pounds. So my question is how long should i be waiting to add livestock? My current thoughts are 2 weeks for corals and 4 weeks between fish. Right now there are duncans & 2 brain coral in there. Check my sig if you want to see some pics.
