hello all. hope everyone had a pleasant holiday. So I havent really been paying attention the last few weeks but noticed some of my snails shells have turned bleach white. Then I realized my coralline algae is pretty much all gone. I didnt really notice this till today.

DKH 8.9

calcium 440
nitrites 0
didnt test amonia. pretty much always reads zero.
anyone know what causes this? I guess this was in the last 3 weeks. thts when i last noticed I had coralline algae in the tank. I guess i can use purple up but not 100% sure that stuff even works.
