Hey everyone,
This algae first showed up about a week ago. My initial cycle has been complete for about a month and a CUC and two clownfish were added about 2.5 weeks ago. It's in a 29g tank with an Orbit Marine IC LED (no refugium or skimmer). The algae is only on the tops of the rocks directly underneath the light (which is positioned slightly more towards the back). The light is on about 10 hours per day at about 30% of its max.
I tried to do some research to find out what kind of algae this is but I was hoping for a more certain answer from much more knowledgeable folks like you ;)
My biggest question is whether or not this is "good" or "bad" algae, and if bad, what's the best way to handle it.
