Well 2 questions really. I have my tank set up and cycling. Before it gets to far I have a Koralia Nano Powerhead (240 GPH) running. Is this enough flow the 10 gallon or should I add another or a bigger one?
2nd question. I read on here you do not need a HOB filter with the power head and live rock. Seems every single you tube vid I see, all the 10 gallons are using one. I know it could be a nitrate factory but not if you change out the pads now again right?
If anything I think the HOB could be used to agitate the water suface at the very least? I have my power head pointed up so it does agitate the water some what... Would it be wise to use an HOB with maybe just some filter floss changed out weekly or bi-weekly?
I'm not sure with the position of the power head that I am getting enough flow over my rock.
