(Kind of urgent) Moss taking over polyp coral

So i have this little polyp coral im not sure what kind specifically but my tank is right by a window and moving it is not an option so moss is thriving (unfortunately) i believe its green hair moss we've tried picking it how but it just didnt help, weve also got this purple moss that just sorta carpets but thats easily removed with a blast of water from a turkey baster. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Coral is about three inches long and an inch wide
