Reef Octopus 100 or Aquamaxx HOB1

Im in the planning stages for a 36 gallon reef tank. I am trying to decide between a ro 100 or the aquamax hob1. I've read that the aquamax is quieter and sits a little lower but is it worth the extra money? Is one less likely to overflow? I'm trying to prevent water flowing onto my floor.

Curious to hear from a few owners of each.
