Live sand in clownfish breeding tank

Hiya I'm waaaaaay off breeding but at some point I want to try breeding my ocellaris clownfish, I have a 10 gallon tank for it, I know a lot of people say to do it without but is it possible to do it with? Also a bit of live rock but a flower pot aswell? Just tell me if I'm being a mad man but I would feel a lot safer if they were in there haha
