I have a 40 gallon breeder tank,
Filstar xp large 30th canister filter with crushed coral and bio stars,
Current USA marine led 36watt, 54-12,000k and 18-8,000k leds, 36 inch
Dual actinic and dual daylight,
Finney hma-200, 20th at heater,
Marineland maxi jet 900 powerhead,
55lbs live rock and 40 lbs live sand,
1 fire shrimp
2 ocellaris clown fish
The filter intake is on the right rear of the tank and return on the left rear. The power head I have turned off since putting the clown fish in but it was located on the front left pointed to the center upper portion of the tank but the fish seemed as if they couldn't handle the water movement. I am worried not having the power head on will lower the oxygen too much but having it on I am afraid will stress them out too much. Any suggestions? They are only on their second day in the aquarium.
