White hair

I have this white hair looking stuff on my sand bed there is so much it looks like a carpet ,

I'm thinking it's either spionid worms or vermetid snails

the sand is packed with tons of tube like debris that was not there before as the sand bed is a year old

any idea on how to get rid of these without tearing down the tank
