I'm trying to figure out what size protein skimmer I need to get for a 120g peninsula that I am starting up - I had planned on going with the RO 150 needle wheel, be received feedback that it wouldn't be enough with the bioload I wanted in my tank.
I'm hoping to get some more helpful feedback than "it's not enough", so if anyone has some insight I would really appreciate it!
Here's my planned stock list:
Fish:
- Blue/Green Chromis (5-10)
- Bartlett Anthias (3)
- Barbonias Anthias (1)
- Scopas Tang (1)
- Powder Brown Tang (1)
- Cherub Angel (1)
- Keyhole Angel (1)
- Flame Angel (1)
- Maroon Clown (1)
- Midas Blenny (1-2)
- Yellow Watchman (1)
- Tiger Pistol (1)
- Yellow Coris Wrasse (1)
- Yellow Headed Jawfish (1-2)
- Green Clown Goby (1-2)
- Orange Striped Goby (1)
- Engineer Goby (3-4)
Inverts:
- BTA (2-3)
- Pincushion Urchin
- Sea Apple
- Clam (not sure what kind yet)
- Linckia Stars (1 orange 1 blue)
- Fighting Conch
- Strawberry Crab
- Abalone
- Snails
- Hermit Crabs
