Coral 101

[SIZE4"][/SIZE]Being new to reef Keeping. I get confused as to what is what. For instance what are the 6 different types. There is LPS, Sps, Lgs, Lps etc.....how do you identify which group they are in? What makes the piece go indivdual fit into a category?



It gets very confusing as to what group it fits into. Can someone please tell me about these groups? Because there are fish that won't touch an LPS, but will nibble until the piece been picked clean. Some examples would be really nice.
