hello I just bought a small horseshoe crab a day or two ago and he has not been seen since I first put him in. as soon I dropped him in he dug his way into the sand bed and as far as I know has not resurfaced. is this normal behavior for them? at the store he was active and out running around the tank. I have also read that if they die and go unfound that could be fatal to the rest of my reef tank. if this is true would my best bet be to return him?thanks.
