Do I need to provide a spot for my fish to sleep?

Probably a stupid question. I'm running a small-ish tank, 22gallon nano that's still longer than it is wide or deep, but not a traditional long tank by any means - meaning I don't really have any dead spots in the tank.

I got my first fish on Thursday (a false percula clown), and he doesn't seem to do much swimming around the tank, but with the constant current everywhere he's never going to be able to rest without being swept around, is that okay?

He doesn't seem to be eating a great deal so far either (just feeding frozen brine shrimp with a bit of garlic so far), but I'm told that's fairly normal for new introductions to a tank. Today was the first time I saw him eat and that was only about 5/6 brine shrimp, doesn't seem a lot even though he's quite small, not sure if I should try some flake food, the guy at the LFS dunked in some food (looked green in colour) before fishing him out and they all went crazy for it, but I'm not sure what that was.
