Brand new to saltwater. Ive been doing a lot of research for the past month as well as gathering the varied opinions of store workers and such. My tank is all set up as of Thursday. Just want some opinions. It will be fish only for now.
As for cycling, some people recommended additives to boost the cycle while others said it wasn't necessary. As of right now, it is cycling with 45 lbs of live rock and 30lbs of live sand, plus the two minuscule starfish that somehow made their way in there, lol.
Does anyone recommend additives, or are there any living creatures that I could add this early to boost cycling?
Currently running a HOT magnum canister filter with a bio wheel as well. The option for a sump system was scratched because I have absolutely no room for it anywhere. Should this work for a beginner FO 50 gal tank?
