I just made a deal off craigslist for a 90gal 48x18x24 tank. 30$, delivered and some smoked pulled chicken. How's that for a deal. Gotta love Craig's list hehe. So will I be in the big tank club now lol. I'm so excited to have the extra depth, this is the tank I made my stand for. I'm selling my 55g sump to my brother for 30$ (with a stand I have in the shed) he's gonna use that for his pet snake.
I think I'm going to make two pyramid islands of rock since all but one of my coral are low-med light and flow. Then have a 'bridge' connect the two tips of the stacks for anything I may get in the future requiring high light.
I also think I'm going to go barebottom with this. My tank now is 3/4ths bare bottom as it is. The only guys that use the sand are my melanurus fairy wrasse and my yellow watchman goby so I'm not sure if I can go bb without making them mad. Any insight on this from you guys? I hardly ever see the goby on the sand as it is but the wrasse does sleep in it every night.
