So I just got my Red Sea Pro test kit. It just so happens that today there was a coral frag farmers market event at a local hotel conference room. I went and I got two corals, a zoa, and a torch. I have had another zoa for about two weeks. These are my first corals. I tested the Ca, Mg, and KH today for the first time. These tests were done about 10 mins after the corals were added. Are these results OK? Oh and my last water change was this past wednesday 10/1/14.
Ca-375
Mg- 880
KH- 11.2
Now this was my first time using the Red Sea test system so the results may be a bit less than perfect but I am pretty confident I did them right and got the final colors correct with the exception of the KH which was a bit more difficult.
What do these tests say about my tank? Both the zoa and the torch have opened already and the torch seems happy. I will post pics later today.
