Pairing clowns questions.

So I have 2 True Percula clowns. The smallest of the 2 literally wants nothing to do with the largest one even though the largest tries to get the attention of the smaller one to breed. The smaller one is just happy to hang in its anemone and be left alone. I find this odd since the smaller one should be male, but the larger one is making all the efforts which should be female right? From my research the males seem to attract the female and not the other way around. Is she just desperate to have a mate or something? I am thinking about getting rid of the smaller one and replacing it will a different clown in hopes my bigger clown will pair. Usually you can just have 2 and they will be a successful pair right? I have never really heard of people having 2 clowns pair and then them not get along. I found this really nice Grade A Davinci Clownfish at my LFS. It was probably around 2 inches or so, which is smaller then mine that I have, but could it be possible that one is female already? I was hoping this one would be a good mate for my clown. The Davinci clown was by itself. Also I found an article that said that both True Percula and False Percula (A. ocellaris) can become a happy and healthy pair. Is this true? This is the article http://ift.tt/1qS1lE7 Sorry for all the questions I didn't realize I had so many.
