Duncan Coral

Hello,

At the pet shop I was greeted by the sight of a few Duncan coral frags (Duncanopsammia axifuga, I think?) that each had one polyp. Around here, Duncan corals go for £10 a polyp and most shops only sell them with multiple heads, so I jumped at the chance.

Here it is! It began to open up rather quickly.

The two circled parts are half-polyps that must've been cut off during the fragging process. These bits of flesh are also beginning to expand, displaying a few tentacles and a mouth on each one. Will they regenerate?

The frag is at the bottom in low flow. Later once it's settled in I plan to feed it, I read that these corals have a voracious appetite. So. Bottom placement, low flow, occasional feedings. Is there anything important that I've missed?

Thank you for your time.
