Copepod Breeding

Today was the first day I officially started my seperate refugium. I recieved a couple different types of algaes in the mail along with 500 pods to start the breeding. I also took one live rock out of my display tank and put it in the refugium. I dont want this to be a failure so I just want someone to either confirm what im doing is right or tell me whats wrong. But basically I have a seperate 20 gal tank with water at about 1.024 salinity heated to around 80 (same as display tank). The algae that came in the mail arent the best they broke off into pieces in the refugium but im guessing the rock is enough of a home. I also have 2 different types of phycopure (1 live 1 concentrated) and i know the water is supposed to turn green but it hasnt yet. Any other steps i should take? Thanks
