Hey, I just bought a small green chromis for my 20gal. He has been doing absolutely great the past 2 days, swimming actively with the clowns and on his own. Bright coloration on him. Went to work today and came home to finding him hiding in a corner at the surface of the tank and looks like he has scales missing. What's wrong with him? is this curable or will he die?

nitrate=5
ok wow...this is weird..I turned the lights on for the tank for 5 mins now and he looks fine...no discoloration..this is really weird. Is this common or ever been experienced by someone else. He is also now back to swimming and brushing up against the clowns...
