We have a 55gal saltwater and it is a newer system that is only 3 months old. We are having algae blooms left and right. We have changed the lighting cycle so that the tank is lit only for 6 hours per day. The brown algae is the worst, we can't seem to control it. When making new water we use RODI and mix with Instant Ocean to make our salt water. It is not only on the glass and live rock but also in the sand as well. Any advice would be so helpful thank you guys so much.
