Moved in the middle of December and decided to replace the stock return pump on my Biocube 29 with an MJ1200 from Cobalt Aquatics. I keep the flow director pointed at the surface of the water and I've noticed sometimes it seems like the return flow slows to a near halt. The first time I noticed this (and it doesn't happen that regularly but regularly enough to bug me as its a new pump), I went to move it and if I pull down a bit on the plug chord that hangs over the back of the tank, the flow starts up again like normal.
Anyone else have a similar issue with an MJ1200 pump or any return pump for that matter?
