Light intensity

I bought a pair of programmable black box Vipar Spectra LEDs. I can set the light intensity on each channel. I'm wondering if anyone else has something like this and what intensity you are running. This is a new set-up so I have only sand and rock in the tank but I'm not real impressed with the lights as of right now. I did put in a frag rack with corals (zoas and palys) but they didn't open.
