Chateo/sump

Refers I have this little issue I got some chateo a month ago along with a cree flood light 65w LED from home depot, and since then there is red slime growing like crazy in the sump especially where the chateo is place, is this normal , or do I need to replace the light any help or suggestions for a different (cheap) light would be appreciated. this is the link for the light.
