Hey everyone,
So I stayed at a relative's house last week (Wednesday through Saturday). Came home to hear that of my 4 fish, three had died (2 clowns and 1 damsel).
I'm not exactly sure what happened. My levels haven't spiked at any time.
Only thing I can think of it this:
- I had left out my rods food and it thawed. Refroze it because it didn't seem to smell bad (had read on here that as long as it doesn't have a terrible odor to it the food should still be good). In preparation of not being home a few days, I mixed a bit of the rods food with tank water and put it in a small container and kept it in the fridge.
I don't know, is it bad to keep the food mixed that way and kept in the fridge?
My cardinal, duncan coral and trumpet coral are perfectly fine. Levels are fine (other than a brief ammonia kick to 0.25 when I came home :( )
