What causes green dust algae? On the back glass it is everywhere. It would be on all of my glass if I did not scrape it. Right now my nitrates are 40ppm and phosphates .002 with a hanna checker. The tank is almost a year old. I was also thinking about adding a biopellet reactor to get the nitrates down. Is this algae fueled by nitrates?
