As I continue to prepare myself for my first reef tank, I continue to come across topics that bring many questions to mind. I find most of the questions already answered on the forums, but I must ask this one.
Now unfortunately I have to obey strata, and we are not allowed to have over 50 gallons of 'open water' in the apartments. Sumps apparently count, and that brought my 40 idea over 50 gallons. Then I saw that my LFS has a JBJ 28 Gallon Nano Cube complete set up with a free UV Sterilizer included. I've checked out the JBJ and have really grown a yearning for it, and will likely fold even though it's a tad overpriced, but what I want to ask is, should I keep the UV Sterilizer and incorporate it into the set up, or sell it? I have a skimmer on the way thats meant for up to 50 gallons, so that will hopefully fit into the open compartments in the overflow. If I were to keep the UV sterilizer, where would it even go?
