Spirorbid worms, decimating the population

Does anyone have any effective techniques in ridding a tan with a good spirorbid worm population?



I thought about bleaching 1 or 2 rocks at a time but that kills stuff and if rather not do that since what does will be excess nutrients later.



What about cooking a few rocks at a time?



Any other ideas?
