Sebae color change

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else....

Have had ten plus years taking care of anemones (sebae, BTA, ritt, carpet etc)

Have used LED lighting (AI sols) the last few years and noticed that with my sebae anemones they change colors.

If they are bleached, they have recovered to a incandescent steel grey color - almost metallic... A few have gone form being bleached to a metallic green.

However, the last two I got were a dark brown from prior established tanks under basic lighting. Clearly the lighting was enough as they were a dark brown.

BUT....within 2 months of being under these LEDS's (eight of them btw), the brown is going away and turning into a dark metallic grey.

Certainly they are healthy but it makes me wonder if dark brown is not the healthiest color for them? LEDS cause different light coloration in the animals? Different xoo production?

Any thoughts from the other anemone experts here? Will try and post pics tonight.

Thanks...
