I restarted my tank after a year and a half layoff after moving.
It has been 29 days since I started
75 Gal Tank with Skimmer, Reactor, and BioBalls.
I have 60 pounds live sand, 80 pounds of once live rock (they were in a box for 18 months after moving)
LED lights with blues and whites
I have an RODI unit, which is the only place I get water from
I use Reef Crystals Salt
My PH is 8.2
Specific Gravity 1.022
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites 2
Nitrates 0
About 3 days ago I noticed my water a little cloudy, 3 days later it is worse.
This morning I only turned my Blues on to see what would happen and I noticed something I could not see with the whites on - little tiny bubbles forming on the rocks that were once alive over a year ago.
The question is should I get rid of all the light and kill the algae that is forming or let it go and see what happens.
I have 1 fish for the cycle (black molly) and no coral or anything else.
