New coral getting added to the tank

Im getting ready to add some new corals to my tank for the first time and I wanted to know what some different people processes were when they added corals. Ive read some people QT coral, some use coral dip, and some throw them straight in the tank. What is the best way to add new corals to keep them and the other residents happy and healthy.
