I posted this on the SPS section but got no reply so:
I bought a really nice millepora last week but after putting it into my tank I notice something weird on the right side, at first I believed it to be hair algae and blew it off. The days that followed I noticed the tissue was receding slowly (so STN). I threw the frag away thinking I couldn't do anything about it.
I went back to the LFS yesterday and bought four $10 frags, one of them being another milliepora. I guess it was the LFS lights I didn't notice the white spots on the frag. I believe it might be STNing as well and was wondering what should I do.
Should I:
a) Leave the coral there
b) Attempt to frag
c) Any other suggestion
