So on 1/3/15 I picked up a maze brain coral (size of a frag disk) and a 3" tall trumpet with 5 heads. Brought them home, float acclimated and then a revive dip for 6-7 mins. Put them in my 10G coral qt (76, 1.025, 5-10 nitrates)
The first two nights I saw sweepers from them. Last night I noticed the edges of the brain looked white at night (just the circumference not the middle). Today I put them in my DT (73-it's -7 here and basement is cold, got a bigger heater arriving tomorrow, 1.025, 20-40 nitrates)
Haven't seen any sweepers since then and tried spot feeding and no tentacles came out. I'm reading they can take awhile to come out?? These are my first LPS and would like to know if there's anything I can do or is it just the waiting game now?? Thanks.
