Hi all,
I'm starting my first reef tank and I'm wondering about lighting.
To start, Ive got a hood that houses two 17w T8s, but one is not functional, limiting me to 1 fluorescent. I figured that I would fix this with LED, so i picked up one Wave Point LED light that has 16 1w LEDs. I believe it is the one that is 1/3 10,000K and 2/3 like, 20,000K. So the fluorescent bulb I grabbed was a 17w 10,000K bulb. I was also thinking instead a 50/50 actinic and 10,000k. Ideas?
BTW, my tank is 29 gallons, 30 in. x 12 in. by 20 in. deep.
How does this sound? I bet ill just get lower light stuff like Mushrooms, Zoas and Softies.
