my setup

I was told to let you all know my set up so here it is.



1. 55 gallon tank

2. Fulver 306 canister filter I was told to take out the black bags and add phosphate remover instead but now I'm hearing from a hobbyist says to put half the remover and one black bag since there is 2 slots?

3. Heater

4. Esshopps psh 100 protein skimmer hang on the back style. Do I have to unplug it to dump out the collection cup?

5. 950 volt powerhead



That's it. I need advice please on what I should all be running in that filter. How often I should do a 5 gallon water change? And how often I need to replace the phosphate remover and black bag (if I add it in there)? Other then that I think everything is in check
