Red Sea test kit is testing very high calcium

I recently got a Red Sea test kit and it has been testing for 530ppm of calcium and I'm pretty positive my tank isn't at 530. I didn't dose yesterday due to these results and I'm afraid if I continue not dosing my clam will not survive since it takes up all the calcium. Lot number 914 since I head about the recall. Does this sound faulty?
