New to Mantis Shrimps

Hi!

So I created a 4'Wx1'9"Lx3'H cabinet for this aquarium.



I'm looking at 40-50 gal tanks.

I'm very new to the saltwater hobby and I know a mantis shrimp is probably the hardest thing to do for a beginner. But mantis shrimps remind my dad of his past days and loves them so I wanted one anyways.



At this point, I'm trying to find an acrylic tank that would be just right for my table.



I visited a relative who was an aquarist and saw that all her saltwater tanks had some intriguing tubing of sorts. Which I'm guessing is the filter.



So my check list is:

Light - ~120

Tank - ~300

Filter - ~100

Heater -~100

Skimmer-~130

TempGaug-~20

~770 plus all the live rock + other things.



Am I missing anything important? And could someone point me in the right direction as to how I can install everything myself? I'm scared I could do something wrong or miss something and kill my mantis.
