Had my tank up and running for a few months now, and a week ago added my first mushrooms. A rock with what I thought was 3-4 mushrooms, now seems more like 9 or so. Seems almost every day I see a new tiny one I hadn't noticed before. Was nervous about adding my first one....studying on line till my head was spinning. Figured finally 'you won't know for sure till you just try it'.
They open every day when the lights come on, get a little smaller as the lights fade to blue in the evenings, and a little smaller as the lights go out, but wooowwww their beautiful as they have a greenish glow in the dark.
Question is when is a safe amount of time to see if a coral is happy where they are, and with the tank before you can feel it's safe to try another one? Is only a week rushing it?
