1.029 How much damage will it cause?

Hi guys, I just invested in a new refractometer and my salinity measured at 1.029. It may explain the death of my peppermint shrimp but how much ill effect will this have on my corals? Should I just bring it down slowly and hope for the best? What can I expect?



I have Zoas, Australian Elegance, xenias, an emerald crab, mushroom, ricordia, etc...

Edit: I was using an Instant ocean salinity gauge before, and I did calibrate my new refractometer with fresh RO water before testing water for the fist time.
