Hello all. I'm looking for some help with utilizing my Neptune DOS for dosing Calcium/Alk and possibly even Mg (even if i have to switch out containers for a few hour period). I was struggling with Ca, Alk, and Mg levels before but I have seemed to level them out. Now I have a high pH issue and low Ca, Alk, and Mg. Can anyone point me in a good direction with a process of getting and keeping my pH down all while adding Ca, Alk, and Mg?
Total system volume is about 70 gallons.
predominately LPS and soft corals.
pH 8.55. My pH was averaging 8.3 prior to me dosing Alk. But obviously I have stopped dosing Alk because my pH has gone past 8.5.
SG 1.024
Alk 8.96. A few months back I was consistently keeping it at 10. But with the addition of more corals it seems to have changed.
Ca 395 but would like it around 435.
Mg is 1065 and I think I want this up around 1350?
All of my corals are doing great, as of right now anyway. But I don't think they are THRIVING.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
